Our Hudson Waterfront is a grassroots group that believes that the future of the Hudson waterfront belongs to the city’s citizens, and the citizens alone. The Hudson waterfront is one of our city’s greatest assets, and it deserves to be developed as an active, vibrant center of enjoyment and opportunity for all.
Jason Shaw, City of Hudson Attorney (2001): “Industrial use of the waterfront in the City of Hudson is, for the most part, a thing of the past…Hudson cannot serve as a port for industrial uses anymore as it did years ago.”

“As former Charleston Mayor Joe Riley often said, people of limited means may never see the Pacific Ocean or the Grand Canyon — but they deserve places of beauty in their own communities. Our waterfront is where people gather. It’s where families walk, children play, and all of us can reflect and be inspired. It’s where community is built. And it’s where Hudson can continue to grow — if we’re wise enough, and brave enough, to protect it.” Ron Bogle, The Cost of Getting it Wrong, RI

“We call on everyone who cares about the City of Hudson waterfront and our quality of life— including the Planning Board, the Common Council, the Mayor, and Supervisors—to stand with the people of Hudson in protecting our waterfront.” Our Hudson Waterfront
